Interpretation
of the main concepts in the design of this building is derived from
Paleolithic stone tools known as the lithic rock fragments. Selection
of the physical nature of prehistoric stone tools are associated with
particular ancient site background of Lenggong, Perak as a whole.
Paleolithic stone tools became so important that it became one of the
UNESCO world heritage site because of its historical value.
Paleolithic stone tools, not only seen from the physical form but
rather, in terms of its use by Paleolithic society at that time.
Therefore, this stone is a symbol of communal society that cares
about one another, so the design interpreted in such a ways that
reflect the community and cultural activities in the prehistoric
times, and remember important events and remind people at the present
about the origin, or more precisely to get closer to the elements of
'sense of place' of the past.
